Bill Murray and Kelis are reported to have split after several months together.
The comedian, 72, and musician, 44, were first linked earlier in the summer after Ground Hog Day star Bill was spotted watching Kelis from side-of-stage at a festival in London.
It was later claimed the pair had been in a relationship for some time, and had bonded in part due to a shared grief over the deaths of their spouses; Kelis’ husband Mike Mora died in 2022 following a battle with cancer, while Bill’s ex-wife Jennifer Butler died in 2021 aged 54.
Now however, a source has claimed it’s over between the pair, with Kelis allegedly making the decision.
They insisted there was no falling out however, and the relationship had simply ran its course.
An insider told the US Sun: ‘Kelis and Bill were — and still are — very fond of each other but things just ran their course.
‘They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance decided to go their separate ways.
The source went on to say the pair ‘hope to remain friends’ but are also planning to ‘get on with their lives.’
Romance rumours swirled when Ghostbusters star Bill was seen proudly watching the Trick Me singer performing at Mighty Hoopla festival, with reports the stars were staying together at a London hotel.
A source told The Sun at the time that the actor had /been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla.’

‘They’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them.’
Kelis married photographer Mora in 2014, but he died in January 2022 from stomach cancer, after first experiencing symptoms in 2022.
Bill married Butler in 1997, a year after his divorce from first wife Margaret Kelly, and welcomed four children with her; she later filed for divorce, and died in 2021.
