While we’re only a month and a half in, 2025 has already been incredibly fruitful when it comes to new beauty releases – and we’ve had the absolute pleasure of putting a huge selection to the test.
From makeup products we can’t get enough of to skincare we’re already seeing results from, I’ve consorted with my beauty-writing colleagues to bring you the lowdown on what we’ve been loving and what’s worth your buck.
Brands like Dermalogica and Skin Rocks have wowed us with skincare releases, while the likes of Haus Labs and Benefit have had a small outpouring of newness that we’ve caught with open, eager arms.
Even hair and fragrance have had excellent new releases in 2025, and so many products have been winners.
However, sadly, we can’t chat about them all, so find below the team’s top 10 beauty picks from 2025, with makeup, skincare and more to be discovered.
Emily’s pick:
‘If there was anyone to convince me that I need a separate eye cream then it would be skincare expert Caroline Hirons.
Her new Skin Rocks The Eye Cream is seriously impressive, fast tracking results with visible improvements in fine lines and signs of fatigue from day one.
Instantly line erasing, this clinically proven cream has already become a staple in my skincare routine. Extra points go to the clever lid which shows you how much to apply.’
Layla’s pick:
‘As part of my job (and as part of being an acne-prone girl), I get to try a lot of products tailored to treating breakouts. Though not all have stood the test of time, I do use active ingredients daily as part of my skincare routine, leaving my skin barrier more prone to damage.
A good barrier serum is, in my opinion, an essential for those with breakout or irritation-prone skin, and my favourite is the Bio-Barrier Serum from Tata Harper.
The formula is not only super lightweight and fast-absorbing, but it also doesn’t break me out, while the addition of bio-ceramides keep my skin looking beautifully plump and hydrated after use – even when using powerful AHA’s and BHA’s. As well as that, it also contains sugar leaf to reduce the look of wrinkles, and Mondo root to support the skin’s natural defenses – win win.’
Sarah’s pick:
‘Aside from helping me achieve a better sleep at night (thanks to the phenomenal scent!), the This Works Deep Sleep Beauty Oil also helps improve skin elasticity.
I have spoken at length with how awful I am at moisturising, but this is just the perfect product to help me unwind at night. Rather than just self-care on a Sunday, I now make time every day (mostly whilst watching an episode of Love Island).’
Lydia’s picks:
‘The gorgeously comforting Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Cream saved my skin from an almighty, post-Christmas slump (ft. dryness, sensitivity and acne) and I was totally lost when I finished it.
Packed with vitamins A, C and E to help support the skin barrier, it works to not only smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but gently nourishes and hydrates, too, leaving it calm, quenched and healthy.’
‘At this point, is there anything HAUS Labs can’t do?
The new B Structural Mascara has literally already become my go-to for when I want assured length and volume with zero flaking, and I can’t get enough of the dual sided brush that coats every single lash.
This mascara, boasting the world’s first vegan B-Silk™ powered formula, is designed to deliver major lash volume and length with a fortifying coat that strengthens lashes with continued use.’
‘This Mighty Fine Brow Pen from Benefit came to me when my brows were in a time of need, with sparseness at the front and on my arch, and absolutely saved their bacon.
Designed to deliver featherlight, hair-like strokes three at a time, this brow pen makes creating beautifully full, defined brows in moments a total piece of cake.
It’s super simple to use, applies like a dream and lasts all day long. What more can you want from a brow product?’
‘If you’re the kind of person who loves a scent that’s out of the norm, then this exciting new fragrance from Who Is Elijah will be one for you.
Top notes of Mandarin and Pear, mid notes of White Florals and ripe Cherry, and base notes of warm, creamy Vanilla, skin-like Benzoin and Green Patchouli create an earthy, addictive an undeniably flirty scent that you’ll wonder how you went without.’
‘As someone with thick and curly/wavy hair, I’ve always tended to forego the straighteners in favour of a blow-dry brush. Straighteners never seemed to be able to handle my coarser, thicker hair and took far too long with far too much damage.
That is, until this straightener came along. Max by name and nature, the ghd Chronos Max Straighteners utilise 85% larger close-edge, high-gloss plates alongside ghd’s most advanced styler technology to help you create the ultimate pressed, glossy finish.’
‘Just when we thought the Elemis Cleansing Balm couldn’t get any better, they release it with a gorgeous black cherry scent…

This advanced cleansing balm works to remove long-wear makeup and impurities while nourishing the skin for a soft, hydrated and smooth finish thanks to starflower oil, elderberry oil and Optimega. It really scrubs the day off while deeply nourishing, and we’ll always be a fan.’
‘More of a beauty product for the body and mind rather than for the skin, this Neom Wellbeing Mini Essential Oil Diffuser enables me to bring my wellness routine with me wherever I go thanks to its small, portable size.
Utilising cold diffusion technology, it distributes your desired scent without the need for heat or water by converting your chosen Neom Essential Oil Blend into a fine vapour, making it perfect for getting zen on the go. True bliss.’
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings…
