Caudalie is a premium beauty brand, which is loved by numerous celebrities, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. 

When people think of the French skincare label, they often think of the Vinoperfect range, or the Beauty Elixir spray, which we adore, though there are plenty of other products in the collection to have on your radar. 

Caudalie has expanded its collection of beauty essentials into tanning – but we don’t mean just SPF, the beauty giant has made its first foray into self tanning drops. 

Caudalie is set to launch its first ever face tanning drops, otherwise known as Self-Tan Sun Drops, which we have been fortunate to get our hands on.  Let’s just say it’s impressive!

Infused with antioxidant organic grape water, which works to brighten and hydrate the skin, while also offering a sun-kissed glow. The 99% natural formula is lightweight, dries quickly and is long-lasting. Apply two to four drops in a moisturiser for a natural streak-free glow. It’s also fragrance and alcohol-free.

It may come as no surprise to learn the Self-Tan Sun Drops are lightweight on the skin when we consider how gentle Caudalie products, plus it leaves the skin bronzed and dewy. 

The Self-Tan Sun Drops are a skincare and beauty hybrid as it not only gives the skin a sun-kissed glow, but the inclusion of organic grape water, which is an antioxidant, works to brighten, hydrate and protect the skin too.

I have tried a variety of fake tan serums, mists and sprays for the face, but Caudalie’s creation may just be my favourite yet. Why? Because it is easy to use, does not streak, and it’s long-lasting.  I can complete my full morning and evening skincare regime, and my bronzed complexion (courtesy of Caudalie’s Sun Drops) stays put for a few days. 

Fake tan products often leave that biscuit or raw egg smell, even if the brand claims it doesn’t it often does.  But Caudalie’s Sun Drops truly do not leave any fake tan scents in its wake, which I much prefer. 

From previous experience, some face tan serums contribute to breakouts, or clog my pores, so I was pleasantly surprised Caudalie’s Sun Drops did not cause any blemishes, or blackouts, during and for the days after I applied the drops. 

The drops are a lighter consistency than some serums, which is another reason why I love the formula. It absorbs instantly into my skin and doesn’t leave a greasy or tacky residue.  

Caudalie recommends blending two to four drops with your everyday moisturiser, and even still, the Sun Drops achieve an even glow and naturally sunkissed complexion.

Suede jackets have been hugely popular in recent months. 

In fact, searches for suede jackets has soared by 246% in the last week alone, which is mega.

Everyone’s favourite makeup brand and perfumery, Glossier, has just launched another iteration of it’s viral, statement fragrance – and we’re excited.

Glossier’s signature scent is the classic You fragrance. Spritzed throughout the store and lacing our online orders, we’re drenched in the addictive fragrance. 

Fast forward to present day, and Glossier is set to launch another new fragrance. Introducing Glossier You Fleur. 

The label launched the standalone scent in 2017, which sold out due to popular demand – naturally. 

Over the years, Glossier has restocked the hit fragrance several times, launched a travel size version, as well as a solid perfume, deodorant and a scented candle. 

Just last year, the brand expanded its collection for the first time with two scents, You Rêve and You Doux, which equally impressed shoppers looking for a mysterious evening scent, and fresher take on the classic. 

And now here we are with another hit fragrance on our hands. Glossier really know their skin-like scents, and we’re obsessed.

Glossier YOU Fleur is the perfect light and fresh yet gently floral scent. It boasts notes of ylang ylang and sweet apricot, with mineral salt accord, woody-notes of cashmeran and suede, yet floral tones of osmanthus. The multi-layered scent has been designed as a skin-scent enhancer you can layer with other fragrances.

What we love about Glossier’s fragrances is that the quartet have all been designed to be skin-scent enhancers. 

While you can wear them on their own due to their ability to stand out perfectly last all day, they can also be layered beautifully with other fragrances, too.

Glossier You Fleur has been described by the brand as’an airy and luminous floral blend’, boasting a multi-layered descent into fresh notes of mineral salt accord, sweet apricot and floral ylang ylang.

Contrasting this are notes of deep, woody and warming cashmeran, osmanthus and ambrox. 

This medley of fragrance profiles creates a warm, musky base, with light and fresh top notes which lasts throughout the day. 

While there are numerous ingredients, the key fragrance note is the wearer’s natural skin, which is the secret to why Glossier’s fragrances smell slightly different on every wearer. A skin scent blends with the wearer’s unique scent for a bespoke fragrance.

You Doux is fresh and floral, the original You (my go-to for day and night) is warm and familiar, while You Rêve is a more opulent evening scent. So where does Glossier You Fleur sit within the existing trifecta? 

According to Glossier’s website, the new release ‘shares the same warm, musky base note as Glossier You’, with the light notes of the fresh, spring-inspired You Doux, and the warm, deeper undercurrent found in You Rêve.

So, in answer to our own question, it appears to be a combination of all three. 

Glossier prides itself on being a cruelty-free brand, and You Fleur is also vegan. 

The new fragrance will be available to shop in a travel-friendly 8ml for £32, as well as a 50ml bottle for £70 – making the larger version excellent value for money. 

Glossier’s You Fleur is set to launch on 27th March, just days before Mother’s Day, so it makes the perfect gift for you and your mother figure. 

While we are waiting in anticipation to get our hands on the fragrance to give you a full review, some lucky shoppers have beat us to it and have high praise for Glossier’s new addition to its ever-expanding fragrance range.  

Glossier shopper, Jessica, tested the fragrance ahead of its official launch, and said: ‘Such an inviting scent! This is my favorite release so far (aside from the OG) and it’s super fun to layer with Doux and Reve.

‘Fleur is summery, with a hint of salt; soft and warm from the cashmeran; with some sweetness from the apricot. Definitely my new go to!’

Another shopper named Eliza added: ‘The fragrance is so delicate and light but it feels so luxurious.’

The Original Styler remains my go-to hair tool as it glides through my long frizzy mane effortlessly, and instantly straightens the section of hair in seconds – without the need to run over the same strand of hair time and time again. 

Not only does it straighten my hair, which holds for days on end unlike any other straighteners I have tried , but I can also create sleek waves and curls too.

What I love most about these straighteners, however, is how they minimise any frizz, tame flyaways and leave my hair silky smooth.

The easy-to-use tool has one power button you switch on and switch off, meaning there’s no need to adjust the temperature. Instead, it heats up to 185 degrees in a matter of seconds for optimal results.

Blusher has gone in and out of fashion, but it’s always been part of my make-up routine ever since I was a teenager. 

From powder, cream, and liquid formulas, I have tested a whole host of blusher variations over the years. Just like I rely on concealers daily, blusher is another make-up bag essential I will not leave the house without.

My latest blusher obsession is Huda Beauty’s Icy Nude Blush Filter in shade Latte, which launched in the beauty brand’s Icy collection at the end of last year. 

I usually apply a bronzer, as well as a pink blusher, so I get the best of a sunkissed bronzed base with a pop of colour on the cheeks.  But, this recent launch is all I need to apply as it takes the place of both products. Who doesn’t love a fuss-free and versatile beauty buy?

The Icy Nude is a new addition to the Blush Filter collection. 

This liquid blusher offers a well pigmented pop of colour to the cheeks, which is easy to blend, as well as build for a bolder look.  

The creation is the perfect consistency, as it is fluid enough it glides onto the skin seamlessly and is easy to blend, yet isn’t runny either. 

The Icy Blush Filter in Latte is suitable for all skin tones, as well as undertones, whether you have cool, neutral or warm veins, which makes it super versatile. I have cool tones, but prefer a warmer look on my face to look alive, and this blusher achieves that perfectly.  

On my skin the Latte colour adds a bronzed sun-kissed peachy glow to my cheeks, with a touch of rose, which creates a finish similar to when I have applied bronzer and blusher. 

It offers a demi-matte finish, which achieves a natural look, perfect for those no make-up make-up days, as well as full glam when you apply more on your cheeks. 

The applicator features two pea-size balls on, which helps to achieve a precise application if you are sculpting your cheekbones.  This design feature also helps to control how much of the liquid blusher is applied, especially as a little goes a long way with this product.

Since incorporating Huda Beauty’s Icy Nude Blush Filter into my beauty routine I have ditched all my other bronzer, contour products and blushers.  In fact, I can easily apply concealer under my eyes, a few dots of this blusher on my cheekbones and forehead, maybe a sweep of mascara, and I am done. 

I love a multifunctional beauty item, and this blusher also ticks that box as I also apply it on my lips, as well as eyelids. I have also experimented blending a small amount with Vieve’s Skin Nova, and buffed all over my skin for an all-over sun-kissed glow as it is lighter weight than a foundation. 

The Blush Filter comes in other shades, and you can blend different tones together depending on your desired make-up look, but Latte is my one and only blusher.

Thermals get a bad reputation, as they are often stereotyped as being unfashionable, resemble long johns like Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka, or remind us of something our parents used to force us in as a child. 

But, the insulating layer has come a long way since then, so much so I proudly wear mine so they are fully visible, which sounds crazy, but stay with me. Thermals from M&S actually look like stylish basic long sleeve tops, thermals and leggings from H&M and Skims, but they are warmer and much more durable. 

I first dabbled in M&S Heatgen thermals circa 2016 on a New Year’s trip to New York. Thick snow hit so hard we couldn’t fly home, and despite waiting hours for the ball drop in Times Square I didn’t catch pneumonia in the sub-zero temperatures, which I solely put down to M&S’ thermals.

I own several pairs of M&S’ thermals, the leggings, tights, scoop neck long sleeve tops, mock neck top, turtle neck – the lot. The Heatgen thermals offer different insulation, including light, medium and maximum, and I mostly own the latter two because I feel the cold. 

Forced to recommend one style in particular it would be the Long Sleeve Scoop Neck, as this can be layered underneath knitwear, other sweatshirts, but also worn on its own when the weather is cold and fresh, yet mild enough you don’t need excessive layers. 

M&S Heatgen Medium Thermal Scoop Neck Top

The M&S Heatgen range is a standout collection that features insulating basic layering staples. The outer is a smooth texture, while the inner layer is an ultra-soft brushed fabric to keep you warm. This design offers medium insulation, but it is also available in maximum insulation too. Available in UK dress sizes 6 to 22, as well as 10 colourways to pair with any outfit.

The Long Sleeve Scoop Neck can be worn under a jumper, paired with an unbuttoned blazer or shacket, even styled on its own with jeans, smart trousers, or tracksuit bottoms, it’s super versatile.  

The fabric also offers the necessary coverage I look for in a top, as I find other brands can be transparent. 

What I love about the winter warmers is they are ultra soft, insulating (of course), but they are breathable and sweat-wicking.  On days I have overdone the layers for a Sunday stroll I am not left feeling sweaty and damp, which then leaves me feeling cold. 

M&S’ Heatgen fabric is brushed on the inside, which provides the insulation and the gentle feel on the skin.  The long sleeve top is lightweight, and not too thick you can’t layer other garments on top.  Plus, it has stretch to fit the body and stay put – instead of rising up to expose your belly. 

The Long Sleeve Scoop Neck is available in 10 colours, including cream, black, brown, poppy red and many more.  

It is also available in sizes 6 to 22, but stock is selling out fast.  I am stocking up, and strongly recommend you do too as you will call on these warm layers year after year.

River Island has truly upped its game in recent months with its stunning fashion and accessories collection, and the ever expanding collections just get better and better. 

We have loved a number of products from the high street label, including the Joe Horner collection. But the accessories are truly something special. 

My current favourite is River Island’s Roll Top Clutch Bag, which looks very similar to the Jacquemus The Rond Carré Clutch Bag that has had me in a chokehold for months.

The Jacquemus clutch bag retails for £710 for the smaller Rond Carré version, up to a hefty £900 for the larger version. Regardless of the design you shop, Jacquemus’ bags are still far more expensive than River Island’s £25 alternative, which I actually prefer – and not just because of the lower price tag.

The Roll Top Clutch Bag features a flat base and roll top handle.It fastens in place with a stud detail on the top.It measures 28cm, 34cm in width and 8cm in depth, which means it is large enough to hold all your valuables. Available in three colours, including white, monochrome zebra and red.

Jacquemus The Rond Carré Clutch Bag

Crafted from premium cow leather for an ultra soft exterior, with a chunky sculptural detail along the roll top. The River Island Roll Top Clutch bag has been crafted from a patent fabric that makes the bag look ultra luxurious and premium, but also durable. Whereas Jacquemus’ design has been crafted from premium cow’s leather that is ultra soft. However, other designs have been made from other fabrics. 

River Island’s bag also boasts a roll top feature, similar to The Rond Carré clutch, which gives this clutch bag a relaxed fit.  The main standout difference is Jacquemus’ bag features its signature sculptural design, the silver sphere and gold-tone cube detail at the top. This design feature is bold, weighty, and helps to hold the fold over the top opening too.  

River Island’s Roll Top Clutch Bag also features a stud press fastening to secure the bag shut, which the Jacquemus bag also has for extra security. 

The high street label’s clutch bag is only available in one size, and measures 28cm in height, 8cm in depth and 34cm in width. While Jacquemus’ The Rond Carré is available in two sizes, the dimensions of the larger version span 18cm in height, 27cm in width and 12cm in depth, while the smaller alternative measures 12.5 cm in height, 19.4cm in length and 6.6cm in width.  

River Island’s design also comes in three colourways, including white, zebra print and red.  Quite frankly we want them all, as this bag will complement every outfit for all seasons and occasions. 

The Jacquemus bag is available in 14 colours, prints and textures, so there is plenty of choice if you wish to splurge on the designer bag. 

We would pair both bags with the classic “jeans and a nice top” ensemble with flat pumps, kitten heels or heeled boots.  It is also perfectly paired with a summer dress or a blazer dress and heels because it is ultra versatile. You could style it for all seasons too, which means you wll certainly get your cost per wear out of the £25 accessory.

My skin has been flaring up more than Kendrick Lamar’s jeans in recent months. 

I have tried and tested a whole host of cleansers, moisturisers, serums, spot patches, and treatments to try and get my skin under control. 

For years my combination skin had been smooth sailing, and I rarely had a single blemish, which I definitely took for granted. However, lately my chin and jawline has been breaking out more than ever. I put this down to a not-so-great diet, stress, and the beauty of unpredictable hormones. 

Q+A recently launched its Salicylic Acid Cleanser, and, desperate to try anything to clear my skin, I gave it a whirl. Safe to say, I’m now an avid fan!

This vegan, cruelty free, alcohol and fragrance free formula is suitable for combination, sensitive and stressed skin. The Salicylic Cleanser is ultra lightweight on the skin, is not abrasive or irritating, which I need as my skin can be sensitive – especially when boils are popping up on the skin’s surface. 

This cleanser is suitable for oily, stressed, and combination skin types, which is the trifecta of skin concerns plaguing me.  

The 96% natural cleanser has been formulated with salicylic acid – hence the name – which penetrates deep within the pores to remove any dirt, bacteria and dead skin that causes the skin to get congested and breakout.  It also helps to improve the skin texture, as well as brighten the skin. The inclusion of allantoin compliments salicylic acid, as it also functions as a gentle exfoliant.

The cleanser also contains betaine, which balances the moisture levels to ensure the skin is hydrated, while also protecting the skin barrier from environmental aggressors that can contribute to blemishes. While aloe vera is key to calm and soothe aggressive flare ups. 

This cleanser not only helps to remove make-up, but impurities on the skin as well as lingering in the pores. The multifunctional skincare solution doesn’t strip the skin of any essential oils, nor does it leave my skin dry like other blemish-busting cleansers I have tried. 

The cleanser is like a clear, cool gel, which is easy to massage into wet skin and doesn’t foam. 

This hero item is super gentle on the skin, doesn’t sting, but leaves my skin feeling soft, thoroughly cleansed and hydrated after use. I had a few spots brewing under the skin, but after the first cleanse it stopped them from bubbling to the surface. 

Q+A’s Salicylic Cleanser is vegan friendly, cruelty free, as well as free from alcohol and fragrance, which could irritate delicate skin.  

I cleanse my skin morning and evening, sometimes double cleanse too, and this cleanser is what I rely on every time. Despite numerous cleansing rituals throughout the day, a little pea size amount goes a long way. 

Considering Iit’s efficacy and the affordable £7.50 price tag, it’s no surprise other beauty buffs are equally as impressed with this Q+A skincare saviour as I am.

WUKA’s designs are all discreet enough to wear with any outfit and keep you protected from any leakages, but the Stretch Seamless Midi Brief are even more discreet, in my opinion, as they prevent any pesky VPL’s, which are my pet peeve.

I have tried almost every sanitary product, but in recent years I have found tampons particularly uncomfortable, and fear what toxins I could be putting in my body, especially in such a delicate area.

Pads can slip and slide away from the gusset of your knickers, and I worry the winged designs can be seen in certain clothes. That, or they chafe against my inner thigh.

Yet, all of those issues can be avoided with a pair of trusty period pants. 

At first I relied on WUKA’s period pants for home wear and to sleep in, purely because I wasn’t the most trusting of its absorbency, but now they’re the most reliable pair of undies I own. 

WUKA’s period pants offer different absorbency levels to suit every wearer. I typically rely on medium flow, but most creations come in light and heavy absorbency levels, too. 

While I rely on period pants for when aunt Flo comes knocking, they’re suitable for those who deal with incontinence or postpartum leakages. 

This particular design has been crafted from recycled nylon and elastane with a breathable cotton gusset. This fabric blend means the briefs are utterly weightless and ultra gentle on the delicate nether regions, which are even more sensitive at that time of the month. 

I hate how some pads can make you feel itchy, but this gentle fabric combats that discomfort. I’d even go as far as to say these briefs offer a second skin feel. 

The briefs are fitted with an absorbent hi-tech moisture barrier, which is moisture wicking and odour-free. As the midi-rise design have a fuller-coverage design, it offers high back protection to prevent any rogue leakages, and is comfortable around the stomach.

For me this is key, as there’s nothing worse than clothing digging in when your tummy is bloated and tender. 

But just because the gusset has built-in layers, doesn’t mean it’s bulky – actually quite the opposite. Plus, they are completely odourless.

You can wear WUKA’s period pants for up to eight hours, but you know your flow best, so you may decide to shop one of every absorbency level to see you through the week.

WUKA initially advised washing the stained undies in cold water before putting them in the washing machine, but technology has been developed, so now they are safe to wash on a 40-degree wash. 

In short, WUKA’s period pants make me feel comfortable, I no longer need worry about being caught out during my period, especially if it kicks in when I wasn’t expecting it to, and they’re discreet.

I would strongly recommend these briefs to everyone: from young adults starting their period for the first time and those who are seasoned in dealing with their menstrual cycle, to those who want to protect against a sweaty groin, those who deal with incontinence and even those who are postpartum.

Truly, these briefs are resistant to any leaks.

Uniqlo sent shoppers into total meltdown when it launched the cult Round Mini Shoulder Bag, which we all (me included) still rely on day in and day out. 

The fashion house has released a variety of other iterations of the cross body bag, including additional colours, as well as a larger quilted version, but there is a new accessory on the block that is bigger and better than the original. 

Uniqlo has created the Uniqlo Multi Pocket Shoulder Bag, which is equally as versatile, if not more so than the original design.

The shoulder strap on the Multi Pocket Shoulder Bag can extend from 61cm to 115cm, so you can secure it tight over your shoulder, loosen it up to wear as a tote bag, or style across the body. 

Made from polyamide, this bag is super durable, like the original Unqilo crossbody bag.  Plus, it is unisex, and super affordable. 

Currently it is only available in black and khaki green, but the same happened with previous designs, and Uniqlo expanded the collection to meet popular demand.  So, can we expect the same for the Uniqlo bag?

This Air Fryer helps to air fry, roast, crisp, dehydrate and reheat any ingredients, while using less oil. Instead of a pull out drawer, the Air Fryer mechanism sits on top of glass cookware, which are thermal-shock resistant. The glassware means you can watch your food cook, but the material can withstand the cooking temperatures, safe for freezing and suitable for the dishwasher, plus it turns into a portable tupperware to take your food to go. The main head features pre-programmed settings, as well as the option to set the timer. Not only is the kitchen appliance compact enough to take on the go, whether you are heading on a staycation, or to visit a relative, but the fact it cooks your feast in thermal-shock resistant glassware, which you can detach from the main PowerPod, attach a lid, and eat whenever you choose.

What’s included with the Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer?

The set includes two glassware containers, which measure 1.4 litres and  3.8 litres, two non-stick crisper plates, storage lids, as well as a PowerPod Adaptor. The glass containers are large enough to cook a large family, and fit a whole chicken in. 

The main PowerPod features four pre-programmed settings, Roast, Air Fry, Recrisp, and Keep Warm, plus you can adjust the timing to suit your cooking preferences. 

The Air Fryer is powered by a mains supply, so you can use in your home, but also take it with you on the go too, as long as there is a mains you can plug it into. 

Using the Ninja Crispi is straightforward. Begin by selecting the appropriate glass container based on the quantity of food you plan to cook. Place the food inside the chosen container, ensuring not to overcrowd it, and to allow proper air circulation. Attach the Crispi PowerPod securely on top of the container. Plug in the appliance, select the desired cooking function, set the appropriate time and temperature, and let it do all the hard work. Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully remove the PowerPod and serve the food directly from the glass container.

Not only is the glassware thermal-shock resistant and can tolerate high temperatures, but it is also safe to store in the freezer, and clean in the dishwasher. Safe to say, Ninja has created the most fuss-free kitchen appliance yet. 

What we love is the design and functionality of this creation. The transparent glass containers allow budding chefs to monitor the cooking process, adding to its user-friendly design. 

The CRISPi Air Fryer measures 34.5cm in height, 30.4cm in width and 34cm in depth. The glassware is detachable, which means the PowerPod head is compact to store away when not in use, especially for those limited on kitchen space. 

Ninja shoppers can’t get enough of this device, which has received an average rating of 4.3 out of five stars.

One happy shopper, who goes under the name Kel41, commented: ‘Great product, takes up very little room too. Everything cooks so easily. Chicken remained juicy. Really quick and easy to use.’

I also found it easier to clean than our existing Ninja dual basket air fryer. The other big positive is how simple it is to use. It has just four settings: Recrisp, Bake, Air Fry, and Max Crisp. There isn’t a temperature setting you can adjust, which did concern me a little at first as I tend to tweak the temperature on our other air fryer but it seems to know what it is doing. Special mention goes to the great results I’ve had with Recrisp for things like leftover pizza – works brilliantly.’

The Toniebox requires you to press the ears to change the volume, or tap the sides to switch to the next story, or song.  To simply fast forward, or rewind, just tilt the Toniebox in the direction, which makes for a more interactive experience. 

tonies® has proved to be a hit, and I can vouch for them as my nieces will spend hours singing and dancing to the Disney Princesses, and fall asleep to the slower bedtime stories.
