Low and behold, a waft of fresh, and dare I say it luxurious, scent filled the air. It’s sweet, don’t get me wrong, but opening notes of lavender and pear paired with a coconut core, and musky, woody base cut through the sugaryness to leave it balanced rather than sickly. In a word, it’s incredible.

I can also see why fans are comparing it to the viral (and incredibly expensive) Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540.

It’s not exactly alike as BR540’s hallmark notes of saffron, jasmin and ambroxan simply aren’t there, but it’s definitely comparable in some aspects. I’d say it’s a sweeter, creamier and more playful version of Cloud.

Expecting the scent to disappear after an hour, I carried on with my day but started to notice the scent several hours after my Superdrug spritz. So often celebrity scents lack longevity but I must say, this one did linger on throughout the day and lasted well.

After my epiphany, it didn’t take long for a bottle of Cloud to earn a permanent spot in my fragrance collection. And I’m not the only one. The fragrance has racked up thousands of rave reviews online, with fans hailing it as their ‘most-complimented’ scent ever.

One reviewer, Dalton O, wrote: ‘Ariana Grande Cloud Eau de Parfum is everything you could want in a fragrance – sweet, dreamy, and perfectly balanced. It wraps you in a soft, airy scent that feels comforting yet luxurious. This perfume is an absolute favorite! The only downside is that men love it and I hate men.’

And rater, Rachael Edmans, said: It’s a really beautiful smell. Lingers in the air, good value for money, good quality. Would make an excellent gift. Nice size bottle for the price, cute appearance as well.’

Kiera, another reviewer, penned: ‘Favourite perfume out there! Amazing value for money and it’s my go to perfume!’

I’ve always struggled with rough, bumpy skin, otherwise known as keratosis pilaris or ‘chicken skin’, on my upper arms.

A surprisingly common condition, with an estimated 40% of adults experiencing it, KP looks just like a rash and causes small, red, or brown raised bumps to form in areas like the arms, thighs, and bum cheeks.

According to dermatologist, Dr Derrick Philips, ‘Keratosis Pilaris is caused by a buildup of scale inside the hair follicle.’ This scale blocks the follicle resulting in a raised bump.

The skin condition often approves during the summer but worsens over winter months, which is certainly the case for my KP.

After trying numerous unsuccessful treatments including exfoliating mitts, moisturisers, and even oral medications, I decided to browse TikTok to see what other sufferers were trying.

What took me by surprise was how much I actually enjoyed applying the treatment and its fast impact on my textured arms.

As it’s a stick, rather than a lotion, it’s incredibly quick and easy to apply and avoids getting your hands sticky. Simply rub it on the area you’re treating, and you’re done.

After a week or so of applying it daily, my skin was so much smoother and less angry and red.

My arms felt soft rather than textured and bumpy and I couldn’t quite believe the difference in such a short space of time.

As mentioned, the Exfoliating Stick has plenty of enthusiasts and it’s been given an impressive 4.4 out of 5 stars from reviewers.

One reviewer, Judith, said: ‘Best product I’ve tried for KP! Easy to use and noticeable difference in appearance and feel of my skin. Less red bumps and a much smoother feeling.’

Another rater, Amanda, wrote: ‘Noticeable improvement within first 2 days of use. I have been using on my bikini line to reduce bumps, ingrown hairs and irritation. My skin isn’t puffy or irritated, it doesn’t have ingrown hair and is not chafing on my underwear. Wish I had this years ago but better late than never!’
